 Basir Haque - MD

Doctor Haque joined our team in July of 2009 to provide hematology and cancer care in our region. As a native of Pakistan he completed his medical instruction in Lahore at The King Edward Medical College.

Following this achievement he pursued his internship at the prestigious Brooklyn Hospital Center, an affiliate of the Weill Medical College of Cornell University. During this time he was named intern of the month, followed by intern of the year.

His recognitions continued into his residency where he was honored with the Chairman’s Award as the top performing resident. Dr. Haque has been widely published in his field and is well respected by his colleagues. He completed a fellowship in Hematology at the Brooklyn Hospital Center and is now Board Certified in Hematology and Oncology.
